Benefit for Reach Out and Read Kansas City
KTKL attorney Kathryn Lewis recently volunteered as chair for an event, The 7th Annual Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast, which benefited Reach Out and Read Kansas City. Reach Out and Read Kansas City is an organization that partners with physicians to help families and communities cultivate early literacy skills, with a special focus on children growing up in poverty. The event, which was held on March 1st, at the Intercontinental Hotel, included hosts Trent and Julie Green, as well as speakers Bryan Busby and KC Mayor Sly James.
