Michael Crabb Wins Jury Verdict in Commercial Case

After a Texas distributor of water metering systems was sued in Leavenworth County, and it became apparent that the matter would not settle, KTK was called in to handle the jury trial defense. A local water district had purchased all new water meters and equipment that could send readings through cellular network endpoints. After the manufacturer of the endpoints went bankrupt, the endpoints quit communicating. The water district alleged that our client guaranteed the continued performance of the failed equipment.

Trial attorney Michael Crabb, together with the client’s Texas counsel, tried the case to a jury over four days. After Crabb’s closing argument, the jury deliberated for about an hour and a half, then returned a total defense verdict. Congratulations, Mike!
