The 46th Annual Snow Ball Presidents, Mike and Jo Kuckelman, addressed over 1,800 attendees at the Overland Park Convention Center on January 18th, thanking them and the community at large for their unwavering, generous support to Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas.
This year’s Snow Ball raised over $3.1 million – an accomplishment that has become the norm now for the last three years.
Proceeds from the event supports the over 20 programs and services that Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas extends to our neighbors in need across a 21 county service area. In her opening remarks, Jo Kuckelman touched on one of the reasons she supports the organization.
“While they will help anyone out of a crisis, Catholic Charities is committed to helping avoid a future crisis through skills training, financial education and employment. It is truly a hand-up, rather than just a hand-out, mentality at Catholic Charities,” she stated.
