KTK WELCOMES SUMMER CLERK, JACOB BERGER
KTK is excited to announce its 2019 Summer Law Clerk position has been accepted by Jacob Berger. Currently a student at University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, Jacob also completed his undergraduate at University of Missouri-Kansas City (2018). He graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, making the Dean’s List every semester. Jacob was the President of The Rising Student Group, and a member of the Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society. He was also a member of the ROTC Pony Express Army ROTC Battalion.
During his undergraduate work, Jacob joined the U.S. Army Reserve as a Combat Medic/ROTC Cadet where he was honored with the Junior Leader of the Cycle/Iron Medic Award. He also earned certification in the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT-B).
Since beginning law school, Jacob participated in the 1L Mock Trial Competition and is currently ranked fourth in his class.
Outside of work, Jacob is an avid musician and has released a personal album. He is a musician/leader at his local community church, and also volunteers at Rockhill Manor, playing music for patients and spending time with them. Jacob spent four months in India, assisting in providing food and medical aid.
KTK looks forward to working with Jacob throughout the summer.
