Steve Torline presents at KCMBA’s 46th Bench-Bar & Boardroom Conference

Steve presented  the  session  “The  Art  of  Persuasion:  Storytelling  Matters” along  with  Merrie  Jo  Pitera  from  Litigation Insights.  The session focused on the importance of developing case themes and storytelling at all stages of litigation for both plaintiffs and defendants by working with jury consultants at mock trials conducted early in the litigation, subsequent focus group panels as well as utilizing graphics and computer animations at mediation.  Storytelling and the development of themes at trial with jury selection, opening statements, the use of demonstrative exhibits and closing arguments were also covered in the session.
