KTK Welcomes New Summer Associates John Shaughnessy and Madi Stapleton

KTK is happy to announce the addition of its newest summer associates – John Shaughnessy and Madi Stapleton!

John is a rising 2L at Notre Dame Law School.  He is a member of the J.L. Weigand, Jr. Notre Dame Legal Education Trust.  John graduated from Benedictine College in 2015 with a degree in mechanical engineering. Prior to law school John worked as an engineer and project manager for eight years in the KC area, most recently at Ingersoll Rand and Garmin.

Outside of school and work John enjoys spending time with family and friends, flipping houses with his brother, and cheering on the Chiefs. 

Madi is a rising 2L at University of Kansas School of Law. She is a member of Women in Law, a student ambassador, and a teaching assistant for Lawyering Skills. Before law school, Madi graduated with honors from Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington. Additionally, after graduating in June 2020, Madi worked as a legal assistant for a public finance law firm.

In her free time, Madi enjoys running with Kansas City Running Club, trying new restaurants, and watching unrealistic TV shows about lawyers.

KTK looks forward to working with John and Madi throughout the summer!
